{"id":90285,"date":"2012-02-07T06:45:00","date_gmt":"2012-02-07T05:45:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rolling-lizard-2tbi.flyinghost.app\/performance-et-caracteristiques-physiques-de-snowboarders-de-haut-niveau-024\/"},"modified":"2025-05-06T14:05:27","modified_gmt":"2025-05-06T12:05:27","slug":"performance-and-physical-characteristics-of-high-level-snowboarders-024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sci-sport.com\/en\/performance-and-physical-characteristics-of-high-level-snowboarders-024\/","title":{"rendered":"Performance and physical characteristics of high-level snowboarders"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ffs.fr\/site\/disciplines\/index.php?disc=snowboard\" rel=\"noopener\">Snowboard<\/a>&nbsp;fait parti des disciplines olympiques depuis les&nbsp;J.O.&nbsp;de Nagano 1998 o\u00f9 le Half-Pipe (HP) et l&#8217;\u00e9preuve du Slalom G\u00e9ant (qui a \u00e9volu\u00e9 vers le Slalom G\u00e9ant parall\u00e8le en 2002) (GP) ont \u00e9t\u00e9 les premi\u00e8res disciplines introduites. Et c&#8217;est en 2006, aux&nbsp;J.O.&nbsp;de Turin que le Snowboard Cross (SBX) a fait sa premi\u00e8re apparition olympique.<\/p>\n\n\n<style>.kb-image1760_d5e936-77 .kb-image-has-overlay:after{opacity:0.3;}<\/style>\n<div class=\"wp-block-kadence-image kb-image1760_d5e936-77\"><figure class=\"alignright size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"480\" height=\"394\" src=\"https:\/\/sci-sport.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/a2401.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"kb-img wp-image-90280\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les \u00e9preuves de &#8220;Freestyle&#8221;, ou style libre, regroupent le Half-Pipe qui consiste \u00e0 r\u00e9aliser le plus de figures dans un demi-cylindre et le Big Air qui consiste en un saut unique o\u00f9 les athl\u00e8tes n&#8217;ont aucune limite sur les figures r\u00e9alis\u00e9es. Le Slalom G\u00e9ant parall\u00e8le oppose deux snowboarders en parall\u00e8le sur deux parcours identiques (Fig. 1). Et enfin, le Snowboard Cross oppose 4 surfeurs lors d&#8217;une course sem\u00e9e d&#8217;obstacles et de virages \u00e0 la mani\u00e8re des comp\u00e9titions de&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/sci-sport.com\/articles\/009.php\">BMX<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Du fait de cette diversit\u00e9 d&#8217;\u00e9preuves, les exigences physiques et physiologiques en Snowboard peuvent \u00eatre tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rentes selon les sp\u00e9cialit\u00e9s de chaque snowboardeur. Afin de mieux \u00e9valuer ces exigences, la mise en place de tests de terrain ou en laboratoire permet de d\u00e9tecter les param\u00e8tres discriminants de la performance, d&#8217;\u00e9valuer l&#8217;entra\u00eenement ou de prescrire les changements \u00e0 y apporter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>L&#8217;\u00e9tude r\u00e9alis\u00e9e<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En 2009, une \u00e9quipe de chercheurs autrichiens a mis en place et a \u00e9valu\u00e9 une batterie de tests sur 37 snowboarders de haut-niveau (16 femmes et 21 hommes), toutes disciplines confondues (Le groupe &#8220;Freestyle&#8221; \u00e9tait compos\u00e9 uniquement d&#8217;hommes). L&#8217;objectif \u00e9tait de d\u00e9terminer si les tests choisis pouvaient \u00eatre d\u00e9terminants pour la performance dans chaque sp\u00e9cialit\u00e9 du Snowboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Les tests<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les athl\u00e8tes ont pass\u00e9 7 tests pour \u00e9valuer des caract\u00e9ristiques de force, de puissance, d&#8217;endurance et de coordination :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Puissance maximale a\u00e9robie :<\/strong>&nbsp;Test incr\u00e9mental sur cyclo-ergom\u00e8tre jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 \u00e9puisement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>D\u00e9tente verticale :<\/strong>&nbsp;Les athl\u00e8tes ont r\u00e9alis\u00e9 un&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/sci-sport.com\/lexique\/cmj.php\">CMJ<\/a>&nbsp;pour d\u00e9terminer leur hauteur de saut.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Puissance isocin\u00e9tique unilat\u00e9rale :<\/strong>&nbsp;Sur une presse isocin\u00e9tique horizontale (Fig. 2), les athl\u00e8tes ont d\u00e9termin\u00e9es leur puissance isocin\u00e9tique pour leurs membres inf\u00e9rieurs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Puissance isocin\u00e9tique du tronc :<\/strong>&nbsp;Sur un appareil isocin\u00e9tique (Fig. 3), les athl\u00e8tes ont d\u00e9termin\u00e9es la puissance lors de mouvements de flexion et d&#8217;extension de la hanche.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>\u00c9quilibre :<\/strong>&nbsp;Sur une machine pour mesurer la stabilit\u00e9 (Fig. 4), les athl\u00e8tes ont effectu\u00e9 les tests sur une jambe.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Force maximale isom\u00e9trique :<\/strong>&nbsp;La force maximale isom\u00e9trique a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9valu\u00e9e au d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 couch\u00e9 et au tirage vertical allong\u00e9 sur le ventre<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Vitesse de pouss\u00e9e au d\u00e9part :<\/strong>&nbsp;En laboratoire, le simulateur d&#8217;une porte de d\u00e9part en comp\u00e9tition a permis aux investigateurs de mesurer la vitesse de pous\u00e9e.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n<style>.wp-block-kadence-advancedgallery \u00e9t\u00e9 corr\u00e9l\u00e9s aux points&nbsp;<abbr title=\"F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Internationale de Ski\">F.I.S.<\/abbr>&nbsp;des athl\u00e8tes dans les diff\u00e9rentes disciplines et avec les points de la coupe du monde. Et pour identifier les variables importantes pour la pr\u00e9diction de la performance en snowboard, des analyses de r\u00e9gressions multiples ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9es.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>R\u00e9sultats &amp; Analyses<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les r\u00e9sultats ont montr\u00e9 que les tests permettaient de mieux d\u00e9crire la performance en Snowboard chez les femmes que chez les hommes. En effet, la&nbsp;Table 1&nbsp;montre des corr\u00e9lations uniquement chez les femmes. La seule corr\u00e9lation significative trouv\u00e9e chez les hommes concernait la performance en Half-Pipe et le&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/sci-sport.com\/lexique\/cmj.php\">CMJ<\/a>&nbsp;(r = 0.88, p &lt; 0.05).<\/p>\n\n\n<style>.kb-image1760_60a90d-f4 .kb-image-has-overlay:after{opacity:0.3;}<\/style>\n<div class=\"wp-block-kadence-image kb-image1760_60a90d-f4\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"290\" src=\"https:\/\/sci-sport.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/a02405.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"kb-img wp-image-90282\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les tests de puissance maximale a\u00e9robie sur bicyclette ergom\u00e9trique et de puissance isocin\u00e9tique unilat\u00e9rale des membres inf\u00e9rieurs sont les seuls \u00e0 \u00eatre corr\u00e9l\u00e9s significativement avec la performance en Slalom G\u00e9ant Parall\u00e8le et la performance en Coupe du Monde. Tandis qu&#8217;en Snowboard Cross, tous les tests except\u00e9s le&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/sci-sport.com\/lexique\/cmj.php\">CMJ<\/a>&nbsp;sont li\u00e9s significativement \u00e0 la performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les statistiques ont \u00e9galement permis de mettre en \u00e9vidence que la batterie de tests utilis\u00e9e dans cette \u00e9tude expliquait la performance pour :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>61% en Slalom G\u00e9ant Parall\u00e8le<\/strong>&nbsp;chez les femmes (le meilleur pr\u00e9dicteur \u00e9tant le&nbsp;test sur bicyclette ergom\u00e9trique).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>98% en Snowboard Cross<\/strong>&nbsp;chez les femmes (le meilleur pr\u00e9dicteur \u00e9tant la&nbsp;vitesse maximale de pouss\u00e9e au d\u00e9part).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>78% en Half-Pipe<\/strong>&nbsp;chez les hommes (le meilleur pr\u00e9dicteur \u00e9tant le&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/sci-sport.com\/lexique\/cmj.php\">CMJ<\/a>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le principal r\u00e9sultat de cette \u00e9tude montre que la batterie de tests mise en place par cette \u00e9quipe de chercheurs semble mieux adapt\u00e9e aux femmes et \u00e0 la discipline de Snowboard Cross. De plus, la vitesse de pouss\u00e9e au d\u00e9part semble \u00eatre un param\u00e8tre d\u00e9terminant pour la performance finale. Comme pour le&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/sci-sport.com\/articles\/009.php\">BMX Race<\/a>, le d\u00e9part est crucial pour la position finale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Applications pratiques<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dans le sport de haut-niveau, les param\u00e8tres test\u00e9s doivent \u00eatre corr\u00e9l\u00e9s \u00e0 la performance. Ainsi, les tests utilis\u00e9s permettront de refl\u00e9ter l&#8217;am\u00e9lioration de la performance et de quantifier les effets de l&#8217;entra\u00eenement. Ce sont donc des informations utiles pour les athl\u00e8tes et les entra\u00eeneurs. La batterie de tests utilis\u00e9e dans cette \u00e9tude est exp\u00e9rimentale mais elle permet de prendre en compte de nombreux param\u00e8tres physiques et physiologiques qui sont n\u00e9cessaires pour la performance dans les diff\u00e9rentes disciplines de Snowboard, notamment en Snowboard Cross f\u00e9minin. Les chercheurs n&#8217;ont toutefois pas justifi\u00e9 de l&#8217;utilit\u00e9 en Snowboard de tous les param\u00e8tres test\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cependant, il est important de noter que peu d&#8217;\u00e9tudes concernant le snowboard ont \u00e9t\u00e9 publi\u00e9es jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 ce jour, et les crit\u00e8res de la performance dans ses diff\u00e9rentes sp\u00e9cialit\u00e9s restent \u00e0 d\u00e9terminer clairement. Enfin, dans cette \u00e9tude, les tests utilis\u00e9s requi\u00e8rent un mat\u00e9riel sp\u00e9cifique qui ne se trouve pas dans n&#8217;importe quel laboratoire ou centre de pr\u00e9paration physique.
