Face au sol, en appui sur les deux mains et les deux pieds, le mouvement consiste en une flexion des coudes pour descendre le buste vers le sol, puis en une extension des coudes pour reprendre la position initiale.<\/p>\n\n\n<style>.kb-image1956_530064-07 .kb-image-has-overlay:after{opacity:0.3;}<\/style>\n<div class=\"wp-block-kadence-image kb-image1956_530064-07\"><figure class=\"alignright size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wordpress-548099-2344337.cloudwaysapps.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/a02101.png\" alt=\"Diff\u00e9rents types de pompes\" class=\"kb-img wp-image-1705\"\/><figcaption> <strong>Figure 1.<\/strong>&nbsp;Exercice de pompes. <\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L&#8217;exercice de pompes est un des mouvements les plus r\u00e9put\u00e9s en entra\u00eenement sportif. Il est simple \u00e0 mettre en place, ne n\u00e9cessite aucun mat\u00e9riel, et peut donc \u00eatre r\u00e9aliser n&#8217;importe o\u00f9. La relative difficult\u00e9 de l&#8217;exercice lui permet d&#8217;\u00eatre aussi bien adapt\u00e9 aux femmes, aux adolescents qu&#8217;aux hommes, quelque soit leur niveau de forme (Fig. 1).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les pompes sont souvent utilis\u00e9es lors de tests d&#8217;\u00e9valuation de l&#8217;endurance musculaire, de la force et de la puissance du haut du corps (<em><abbr title=\"'exempli gratia' (Latin) signifie 'par exemple'\">e.g.<\/abbr><\/em>, tests de s\u00e9lection dans l&#8217;arm\u00e9e, la police, etc.). Malheureusement, la quantification de la r\u00e9sistance fournie par un tel exercice est difficile, d&#8217;autant plus si des variantes sont utilis\u00e9es comme la variation de la hauteur du support des mains ou des pieds (Fig. 2-7).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>L&#8217;\u00e9tude r\u00e9alis\u00e9e<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En 2011, pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 cette probl\u00e9matique, une \u00e9quipe de chercheurs am\u00e9ricains a mesur\u00e9 les forces de r\u00e9action au sol au niveau des mains (<em><abbr title=\"'id est' (Latin) signifie 'c'est \u00e0 dire'\">i.e.<\/abbr><\/em>, les forces appliqu\u00e9es au niveau des mains sur le sol) lors de diff\u00e9rentes variantes de pompes. Ces diff\u00e9rentes variantes sont illustr\u00e9es dans les&nbsp;Figures 2 \u00e0 7&nbsp;:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>PN :<\/strong>&nbsp;Pompes Apr\u00e8s un \u00e9chauffement, tous les participants ont r\u00e9alis\u00e9 2 r\u00e9p\u00e9titions de chaque variante dans un ordre al\u00e9atoire avec 1 minute de repos entre chaque variante. Les exercices \u00e9taient r\u00e9alis\u00e9s sur une cadence identique : 2s de phase excentrique et 2s de phase concentrique, sans temps de pause entre les deux. Les donn\u00e9es \u00e9taient recueillies \u00e0 l&#8217;aide d&#8217;une plateforme de force plac\u00e9e sous les mains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>R\u00e9sultats &amp; Analyses<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les principaux r\u00e9sultats montrent que r\u00e9aliser des pompes les mains sur\u00e9lev\u00e9es de 60.96cm permet de produire une force \u00e9gale \u00e0 41% du poids de corps et que par cons\u00e9quent, dans cette \u00e9tude, c&#8217;est la variante la plus facile \u00e0 r\u00e9aliser. Alors que r\u00e9aliser des pompes les pieds sur\u00e9lev\u00e9s de 60.96cm permet de produire une force \u00e9gale \u00e0 74% du poids de corps, et c&#8217;est donc la variante la plus difficile r\u00e9alis\u00e9e dans cette \u00e9tude. Les r\u00e9sultats sont pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es en&nbsp;Table 1.<\/p>\n\n\n<style>.kb-image1956_eb1aac-e8 .kb-image-has-overlay:after{opacity:0.3;}<\/style>\n<div class=\"wp-block-kadence-image kb-image1956_eb1aac-e8\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"227\" src=\"https:\/\/sci-sport.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/a02108.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"kb-img wp-image-90263\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les tests statistiques r\u00e9alis\u00e9s ont montr\u00e9 une diff\u00e9rence significative entre chaque variante de pompes.&nbsp;<strong>Cela signifie que les diff\u00e9rentes variantes test\u00e9es permettent distinctement une augmentation \/ diminution progressive de la r\u00e9sistance lors de l&#8217;exercice. La r\u00e9sistance variera d&#8217;environ 41% \u00e0 74% du poids de corps.<\/strong>&nbsp;De plus, aucune diff\u00e9rence au niveau des coefficients n&#8217;a \u00e9t\u00e9 relev\u00e9e entre les femmes et les hommes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Applications pratiques<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cette \u00e9tude met en \u00e9vidence la variation de la r\u00e9sistance en fonction de la hauteur des mains ou des pieds. La plupart des sportifs ont bien conscience de ce principe pour varier la difficult\u00e9 de l&#8217;exercice de pompes, mais il n&#8217;en est pas forc\u00e9ment de m\u00eame pour le grand public. Il est int\u00e9ressant de noter la difficult\u00e9 des pompes sur les genous se situent entre la version o\u00f9 les mains sont situ\u00e9s \u00e0 60.96cm et celles o\u00f9 les mains sont plac\u00e9es \u00e0 30.48cm. Ainsi, en utilisant ces coefficients, il est pr\u00e9f\u00e9rable pour une personne de passer de la version \u00e0 genous \u00e0 celle o\u00f9 les mains sont sur\u00e9lev\u00e9es de 30.48cm, avant de passer \u00e0 la version normale des pompes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ces coefficients peuvent \u00eatre utiles aux professionnels du sport pour recommander une variation progressive de la r\u00e9sistance lors de l&#8217;exercice de pompes. Il est aussi plus simple de quantifier la r\u00e9sistance sur chaque version.<\/strong>&nbsp;Il aurait \u00e9t\u00e9 n\u00e9anmoins encore plus utile de r\u00e9aliser un mod\u00e8le math\u00e9matique qui prendrait en compte la hauteur des mains, la hauteurs des pieds et la masse corporelle de la personne pour conna\u00eetre directement la r\u00e9sistance.
